The restaurant is a large open-air terrace. Smoking is allowed on the premises.
Do you have valet parking or a car park?
We do not have valet parking or parking facilities. However, you can park your car in a public car park located 10 minutes walk away from the restaurant. If you have a driver, ask to be dropped off at "Dar El Bacha", a short 3 minute walk will take you to our beautiful terrace.
Is it possible to order a taxi at the end of the meal?
Yes, please inform the server in charge of your table that you wish to book a taxi. A member of our team will be happy to escort you.

How to get to la Terrasse des épices?
The easiest way to find us is from Dal el Bacha Street, follow the street 300 metres and you will arrive at la Terrasse des épices. Alternatively, from Jemaa El Fna Square, a pleasant 15-minute stroll through the souks will take you to the restaurant. Along the route, you will find signs indicating the way to follow.

La Terrasse des épices is a trendy family restaurant. We do not impose a dress code.

Is it possible to make a reservation for a drink or just a dessert?
We only take reservations for lunch or dinner. However, for an aperitif or a sweet break, we invite you to come to the restaurant or to call us, a table will be proposed to you according to our availability.

Is there a time restriction for lunch and dinner services?
Yes, we offer several services. Lunch: 12:00 - 12:30 PM / 2:00 – 2:30 PM. Dinner: 6:30 - 7:00 PM / 9:00 - 9:30 PM.
Is there a time limit for our meal?
In order to honour the bookings of the second lunch and dinner service, the reservations of the first service will be able to enjoy their table for a period of 2 hours.

Is it possible to book by phone?
Yes, it is possible to make a reservation by phone, every day from 9:00 AM to 10:30 PM, on +212 (0) 5 24 37 59 04. For your convenience, we recommend that you make your reservation on our website.
Do I have to pay a deposit when booking?
For more than 5 people, we ask for a deposit of 100 MAD (about 9 pounds) per person to confirm your booking. This deposit can be paid on site or remotely via a secure payment platform.
Can we visit the restaurant before our event?
Yes, it is possible to visit the restaurant. However, we do not conduct tours of the restaurant during service hours in order to maintain the quality of our customer’s experience.
How many people are considered a group?

Can we play our own music?
Yes, it is possible to play your own music during a private function. A quality sound system, a microphone and a mixing desk can be provided.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
For all group bookings, you will be asked to pay 50% of the cost of the event to confirm it. The rest of the payment must be made one week before the day of your visit.
Events and private functions
Is it possible to book the whole restaurant or just part of it?

How many people are required for a private function
We consider a fully private function to be 100 people and above, as then we must mobilise our entire team for your event in order to guarantee you our best service. Smaller functions are possible, contact us for details by email at "email@example.com".
Do we have to pay a deposit to confirm our event?
For all events, you will be asked to pay 50% of the total cost to confirm your event. You will then be asked to pay for the rest of the service during the week preceding the day of your visit.
Is it possible to celebrate our marriage?
Since its opening, la Terrasse des épices has been careful to respect the traditional life of its neighbourhood, which is why we do not organise wedding parties.

We have our own team of security guards to ensure that your event is a success.
Do you have to wear a mask in the restaurant?
Indeed, the mask is mandatory to enter our restaurant, as well as for any movement within the establishment.
What measures are in place?
For your safety, la Terrasse des épices has installed a thermal camera at the entrance of the restaurant. This camera measures your temperature and tells you if your mask is correctly positioned. You will be asked to disinfect your hands before entering the restaurant. A number of hydroalcoholic gel dispensers are available throughout the restaurant. Our team disinfects its hands regularly and changes its masks every 4 hours. The entire facility (cushions, benches, tables, door handles, stair railings, toilets and payment terminals) are disinfected throughout the day. Weekly PCR tests are carried out on all our employees.
What is the maximum number of people per table?
According to the measures announced for the catering sector, we can accept a maximum of 6 people per table. If your reservation exceeds this number of people, we will provide you with several tables spaced 1 metre apart.
